4. Celebration Under The Stars
July 4th at 3:30 p.m.
120 Dejarnette Lane, Murfreesboro
The City of Murfreesboro’s “Celebration Under the Stars” will be held at McKnight Park on July 4. The day’s activities begin at the outdoor pool at Sports*Com at 10 a.m. with a pool party, games and prizes until 4:30 p.m. The evening activities in McKnight Park begin at 3:30p.m. with a live band, “Audio Saints” and admission to the family-oriented events will be free of charge.
From 5-8 p.m., there will be family activities, as well as inflatables. At 8 p.m., the Murfreesboro Symphony Orchestra Choir, conducted by Dr. Laurence Harvin, will present a program of traditional patriotic tunes and inspirational classics. Greg Lawson will conduct the Murfreesboro Symphony performance during the fireworks display.
