Four more students can say they aced the ACT.

Page High’s Zachary Drake was one of the students who achieved the impressive academic feat.

“Zack is a bright and driven student,” said Page High Principal Dr. Shane Pantall. “We are so proud of this excellent accomplishment and are excited for all of the opportunities it affords him.”

Independence High’s William Henke also gets to add this achievement to his resume and college applications.

“I am very proud of Will accomplishing his personal goal,” said Independence High Principal Dr. Nikki Patton. “He is not only a stellar student academically, but he excels on both the soccer field and onstage in our theatre arts program.”

Brentwood High’s Emma Rutherford and Namrah Ajmal also earned a perfect 36 composite score on the June ACT.

“Emma Rutherford is an outstanding student and very active in school activities,” said Brentwood High Principal Kevin Keidel. “She starts on the varsity soccer team and is a member of the National Honor Society, cross-county team, Model UN, Youth in Government and Photography Club.”

This is Namrah’s second time taking the exam and earning a perfect composite score.

“Namrah is a terrific student who is committed to doing her best and helping others,” said Keidel. “She participates in forensics, speech and debate, Science Olympiad, Mu Alpha Theta and the National Honor Society.”

The ACT is a college-readiness exam that is divided into four sections: English, math, reading and science. Each section is graded on a scale that tops out at 36. The composite score is the average of all four section scores.
