A runaway donkey was found by the Williamson County Animal Center on Monday, and is now being kept at their livestock boarding quarters in Franklin.
The donkey had been on the run all weekend before being apprehended just off the Natchez Trace Parkway. The animal center is asking anyone who may know the owners to give them a call at (615) 790-5590.
If “Mr. Donkey” is not claimed within 30 days he will go up for adoption.
