Former Tennessee Titans running back Antonio Andrews entered a guilty plea to simple assault on Thursday to wrap up the case against him from an incident in March.

Andrews had been charged with punching David McDill outside of Little Chicago Pizza restaurant on Demonbreun Street on March 28 after Andrews said he heard McDill utter a racial slur at one of the restaurant’s employees.

Andrews had been charged with a felony aggravated assault in the matter, but with the plea deal, he will spend six months on probation. He entered a guilty plea to the charge of a misdemeanor with the possibility of having his record expunged, according to Davidson County Court records and various reports.
