According to FOX 7-TV in Austin, Texas, officials have confirmed that former University of Texas and former Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young was arrested for DWI. The Austin Police Department says it happened around 12:30 a.m.
Young , a former first round draft pick by the Titans, had an up and down career.
As a quarterback at Texas, he led the Longhorns to victory over University of Southern California in the 2006 Rose Bowl. Close to then Titans’ QB Steve McNair, who went to the Ravens , Young struggled with the NFL game and with life in the NFL .
Young now serves as a diversity and community engagement officer in the Division of Diversity and Community Engagement at the University of Texas at Austin and helps raising money to support the division’s many educational programs, according to school officials.
