Last Friday night in the Class 6A quarterfinals, Ravenwood beat White Station 55-35
The Raptors, led by three Connor Jeffries touchdowns and a star performance by quarterback Andrew Rappe, dominated White Station on the ground, gaining 321 yards rushing.
After jumping to a 35-13 first half lead, the Raptors and White Station played even in the second half.

Ravenwood (12-1) will host White Haven (12-1) on Friday for a chance to advance to the Blue Cross State championship game.
After White Station scored first on a short run, the Raptors responded. In the first quarter Carter Nelson scored on a 3-yard run and then quarterback Rappe, who had 122 yards and 2 touchdowns running the ball in addition to 8-12 passing for 206 yards, scored his first on a 34-yard run.

In the second quarter Jeffries, who had 121 yards rushing and receving, scored twice. Chris Rowland caught a 67-yard touchdown pass, a big play that shifted momentum in Ravenwood’s favor, while White Station managed just two field goals in the half.
In the second half White Station made a push, scoring first in the third quarter on a short pass. But the Raptors came right back, Rowland scored on a run from 15 yards out.
He finished with 87 yards rushing and 119 yards receiving.
