In the last game of the regular season first-place in Region 3-6A Ravenwood got one of its most dominant wins.

Playing at winless Antioch, the Raptors won 45-0, rushing for five touchdowns and almost 250 yards.

Ravenwood finishes the year 9-1 and on a six-game win streak, with the Raptors only loss coming against Centennial.

Quarterback Andrew Rappe led the onslaught, throwing 3 for 5 for 47 yards and running for 47 yards and 2 touchdowns on 9 carries.

Carter Nelson led Ravenwood on the ground, running for 103 yards and a touchdown on just 9 carries. Chris Rowland continued his double-threat brilliance, with 104 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown on 10 touches (8 rushes for 52 yards, 2 catches for 52 yards).

The Raptors put up 299 total yards, 243 rushing and 56 in the air. On the other side of the ball Ravenwood held Antioch to just 154 total yards- just 3.2 yards per play. The Rapters averaged 12.9 yards per play.

Next week in the first round of the playoffs the No. 1 seed Raptors host No. 8 seed Bartlett (3-7). Ravenwood is looking to avenge its loss in the State Championship game last year to Maryville. That could happen- Maryville is on the top of the bracket and Ravenwood on the bottom and the first possible time they can face each other is in the championship round.
