Foodie Fundraiser Raises Money For Benton Hall Academy

Local chefs and area performers, including local band Krunch and special guest and student, Galen Cherry, will join together to blend their distinctive talents as they cook up something special in a benefit for Benton Hall Academy (BHA).

Food for Thought — the third annual “foodie” fundraiser and silent auction to raise awareness and funds for BHA, a school for unique learners — will be held at the Nashville Farmers’ Market Friday, March 6, from 6:30-9:30pm. The Nashville Farmers Market is located at 900 Rosa L Parks Blvd, Nashville 37208.

Donations for Food for Thought, tickets and auction bidding number registration may all be done in advance via here. Proceeds from the evening, which includes the silent auction, will be used to expand and enhance BHA’s classroom technology.

The Benton Hall Academy environment is unique, offering an educational opportunity for students who struggle to meet their potential in traditional learning environments. The perspective of students says it all:

“We are honored to have such an amazing outpouring of efforts to support Food for Thought,” said Veronica Paradis, Headmaster, BHA. “Our teachers and administration have always focused on helping others and crafting new beginnings for students who may have struggled elsewhere. This is SO genuinely and generously Nashville when specialists dedicate their talents to help one another for the greater good.”

Benton Hall Academy is accredited by SACS (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools) and approved by the State of Tennessee, serving approximately 80 students in grades 3-12.
