Employees who leave the office for lunch can spend half their lunch breaks sitting in busy intersections. Lunch time along with morning and afternoon rush hours can increase our stress and anxiety levels and even bring out “road rage” leaving people depleted and unproductive at best. In an effort to reduce the traffic congestion during peak hours, Food Truck & Rideshare Day is designed to encourage area employees, customers and residents to walk or rideshare to lunch using one of Williamson County’s many options such as TMA Group’s VanStar vanpool program, the Franklin Transit, or service apps such as Hytch, Lyft, Uber, Ride Simply and Grand Avenue.
