Fisher-Price Recalls Infant Cradle Swings Due to Fall Hazard

Fisher-Price has recalled about 34,000 infant swings due to the possibility that the swing can fall.

  • CMR43 Sweet Surroundings Butterfly Friends Cradle ‘n Swing

Fisher-Price has received two reports of a seat peg coming out from the seat, causing the seat to fall. No injuries have been reported. The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) writers in their report that “when the seat peg is not fully engaged the seat can fall unexpectedly, posing a risk of injury to the child.”

These swings were sold at buybuyBaby, Target and other stores nationwide and online at Amazon.com and other websites from November 2015 through March 2016 for about $170. Consumers can find the product number under the pad on the seat.
