First Farmers Bank to Open at Former Franklin Regions Location

First Farmers and Merchants Bank plans to open a financial center in a former Regions Bank location in downtown Franklin that was closed in a consolidation effort.

First Farmers recently announced the hire of Darryl G. Clark to serve as branch manager at the new downtown Franklin financial center scheduled to open late first quarter at 121 1st Ave. South.

Regions closed the branch on Oct. 28.

“We are excited to welcome Darryl to First Farmers and believe his experience will serve our customers and employees well at our new downtown Franklin office,” said T. Randy Stevens, Chairman and CEO of First Farmers and Merchants Bank, in a press release announcing Clark’s hire. “As we continue to expand across Middle Tennessee, it is important to put the right leadership in place who understands the communities and customers we serve. Darryl’s experience and relationships will be a vital asset as we prepare for the opening of our 21st financial center in Middle Tennessee.”

First Farmers financial center in downtown Franklin will provide customers a full-suite of financial services including personal banking, business banking, investment services, commercial banking, mortgage lending, trust and wealth management services.
