The First Bike for Brett was a Huge Success

Bike for Brett with Ellen Boyer, Thalas Steele and Caroline Bryan

On Saturday, supporters of the Bike for Brett event gathered for a ride at CycleBar Franklin dressed in bright colors and many in bumble-bee outfits. The sold-out event  had 48 riders who came together to support the Brett Boyer Foundation who in turn gave all of the proceeds from their first event to Gigi’s Playhouse located in Brentwood. The Bike for Brett event came about has a way to honor Sadie Brett Boyer, niece of Caroline Bryan and country star Luke Bryan. Sadie passed away in February of 2017. She was born with Down Syndrome and suffered from a congenital heart defect.

On hand for the event was Gigi’s Playhouse Nashville representatives Ellen and Bo Boyer, parents of Sadie Brett Boyer, and Caroline Bryan, Sadie’s aunt and Thalas Steele of Steel Athletes who coordinated the event.

After the ride, those in attendance were treated to a special message from Sadie’s uncle – Luke Bryan. One lucky rider was given four tickets along with a meet and greet to his next local concert. As of Saturday, the event raised over $20,000. Watch our video below about the event.  For more information about the Brett Boyer Foundation, visit their website.
