Finds&Happenings: Studio Tenn Costume & Prop Sale

Just in time for Halloween, Studio Tenn will host a Costume & Prop sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015. Easily accessible from the Franklin Farmers Market, the sale will feature vintage finds and genuine theatrical costumes from Studio Tenn stock, available to the public at incredible prices.

Studio Tenn Production Manager and Costume Supervisor Erin Parker said, “If you’re someone who likes to think outside the mass-produced-costume-box, we invite you to grab your pocketbook and come get inspired.”

This is the first sale of its kind for Studio Tenn, but the company hopes it can become an annual event to benefit its costume and prop departments and raise funds toward setting up inventory systems that would make its stock easily accessible and available for rental to other organizations in the community.

Studio Tenn Artistic Director Matt Logan said, “We have an abundance of great props and wardrobe pieces that have been used in our shows and donated to benefit Studio Tenn, but we don’t have an abundance of space. This sale is a chance for the public to get in on some great vintage finds for their closets and their homes while supporting a great cause.”
