FiftyForward RSVP, a division of Senior Corps, USO volunteers and community members will commemorate and honor the heroes and victims of the Sept 11 terrorist attacks by participating in a 9/11 National Day of Service and Remembrance.
The event takes place Friday, Sept. 9, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m and there are two ways you can participate.
Volunteer
Volunteers are needed from 11a-2p to hand out donation suggestion flyers and to collect non-perishable snacks and food items that will be delivered to the USO Welcome Centers.

Shop “Fill the Truck”
Select area Kroger stores in Williamson and Davidson counties are participating in “fill the truck,” in which your donations of non-perishable goods will be donated to USO Welcome Centers, located at Fort Campbell, the Nashville International Airport and the Middle Tennessee Entrance Processing Station. The donations gathered at this annual “Fill the Truck” event help to provide refreshments for those serving our country as they pass through these USO centers.
In Williamson County, you can donate goods at the Franklin Kroger, located at 2020 Mallory Lane.
