Are you concerned about your teen’s social peer group influence? Did you know parental attitudes toward alcohol/drug use have a significant impact on teen use?
Then join STARS Monday, January 23 for a special parent night at Franklin High School. The event will cover teen drug trends and what you can do as a parent to recognize those trends.
Questions that will be answered include:
- What signs or symptoms should you look for?
- What are the effects of alcohol and other drugs?
- What can I do to help my teen?
- How will I know if my teen needs help?
- What help is available if my teen has a problem?
- What are the most popular drugs used by teens?
The event will take place in the school library at 810 Hillsboro Road from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. Franklin High STARS Specialist Regina Guess and Franklin High Counselor Leticia Varela will be on hand to assist non-English speakers in attendance.
