Featured Pets of the Week: Pebbles and Courtney Cox

The Williamson County Animal Control & Adoption Center will hold the final event of its 12-week adoption challenge on Saturday, August 30 at the shelter. Since June 1, the shelter has been competing with nine other U.S. shelters of comparable size in a nationwide ASPCA Rachael Ray $100K Challenge.
The shelter hopes to exceed their required 809 ‘lives saved’ on Saturday during the final adoption event of the Challenge. The public is invited to stop by for free refreshments and see the pets in need of forever homes. The ASPCA will officially notify winners on October 7.

Let’s meet this week’s “stars” :

Pebbles

Pebbles is a 2-year-old white lab. She loves to play with kids and would make a wonderful family pet. She would prefer a home without cats.

Courtney CoxThis beauty is a 16-year-old female ‘cougar’ named Courtney Cox. Despite her age, she is as spunky as a kitten! Courtney Cox loves to interact with humans and play on the shelter’s ‘catio.’
