favor! Wants You To Saddle-Up For the Derby

Combining creative event planning with a passion for community service, three Williamson County women have launched a unique company called: favor!

“Most local event planners just handle parties for corporate or socialevents, but favor! also wanted to be able to give back to local charities by planning parties with gratitude ” said Christy Huff, creative director behind the artistic transformations for favor!

Huff continued saying, “By also hosting community events throughout the year, we can help strengthen our community by favoring them unexpectedly.”

Founders of favor! include Ellen Padlick, vice president of operations, and Jennie Green, vice president of sales/marketing. Together the trio has more than 30 years experience in event planning and design from memory-making Sweet 16 parties to the casual fun of crawfish boils to elegant, one-of-a-kind events.

On May 3, favor! will be hosting its next community event, which benefits Saddle Up! a therapeutic riding program for children and youth with disabilities. The event will be from 3-7 pm at the barn at Chavis Farm, 4054 Wilson Pike in Franklin, and features traditional Kentucky Derby food, drinks, and games. Tickets are $50 per person and are available HERE.

“We created Saddle Up For The Derby because of our personal experiences with this valuable program and knowing how much children benefit from the program, ” said Christy Huff.

With no other event like Saddle Up For The Derby in Williamson County, we envision that this will become another “favor”ite tradition for our community, added Jennie Green.

We’re excited to launch this new venture to help clients celebrate special moments and milestones and to bring focus‹and support to the special organizations in the area that do so much for our community, said Ellen Padlick.
