Father Ryan to Host 9/11 Memorial Prayer Service

Friday, Sept 11th at 8:55am, Father Ryan will hold a memorial prayer service commemorating the first responders who lost their lives in the 9/11 terrorist attacks. The event will include a memorial of the terrorist attacks in New York, Washington D.C. and Pennsylvania and a blessing over some of the first responders in our area, many of whom are alumni of Father Ryan High School.

The service is open to the public. In attendance will be school officials, notably President Jim McIntyre, Principal Paul Davis ’81 and Fr. Gervan Menezes, chaplain at Father Ryan; a group of Nashville’s first responders, a number of whom are current or former members of the Father Ryan community; Father Ryan alumni; the Father Ryan student body; and members of the surrounding community.

The service will take place at Catignani-Drennan Fieldhouse at Father Ryan High School, 700 Norwood Drive, Nashville, TN 37203
