Farm Fresh Vintage Finds, located at 1861 Fairview Blvd is now open. At Farm Fresh, you’ll find vintage inspired decor and gifts, furniture and more. They also specialize in custom furniture, kitchen cabinet refinishing and decorative painting.
DIY and home renovation projects seem to be second nature to owner, Beth Tidwell. Beth grew up in Fairview and now lives in a farmhouse (circa 1827), which she and her husband spent two years completely remodeling.
“Our families thought we were absolutely nuts and tried to talk us out of it. But we were determined and have spent many hours making it our home. We can’t imagine living anywhere else. I’m an avid DIY’er, wanna-be interior designer and thrift shopper extraordinaire. I love painting, refinishing and/or repurposing any and everything. I am completely obsessed with kitchen design and remodeling. And love helping my clients transform their kitchen on a budget.”
Since 2012, Beth has blogged about her projects–she’s even had a couple projects featured on Bob Vila’s website. In fact, one of her bathroom vanity projects is currently in a Bob Vila contest. She helped one of her clients, who had their eye on an expensive vanity, find an affordable solution by re-purposing a sofa table and pedestal sink into a custom cottage-style vanity.

Where does Beth get all this inspiration? Her parents, of course!
“My dad was always building something in his workshop in his spare time and my mom taught me how to sew. I’ve always loved taking things and transforming them. I grew up watching Bob Vila on This Old House. I think inspiration is everywhere you just have to recognize it.”
Owning her own store has always been a dream for Beth. Three years ago, she started having barn sales to sell her treasures. When the timing presented itself to open her own store, Beth and her husband jumped right in.

“Our shop is filled with vintage inspired home decor and gifts, furniture, unique treasures, chalk and clay paint and so much more. Some are old and some are reproductions. We also carry a line of affordable custom built farm tables, benches and beds. All items are hand painted by me with DIY Chalk and Clay Paint,” Beth said.
Just for fun, we asked Beth some lightning round questions—we asked her to give us the first answer that popped into her head:
What is your favorite room in your house?
Our family/game room. It’s a great gathering place in our home.
What color makes you the happiest?
That’s hard, I love anything white because it’s crisp and clean but turquoise makes me smile.
Favorite DIY/Renovation show?
I could never pick just one. I love Divine Design, Sarah’s House, Rehab Addict and Fixer Upper.
