Family Sells Car From “Bewitched”

Over the weekend, Bob Parks Realty held an auction at the Edens home where you might call it a car collectors dream come true.

 

The 1967 Chevy Impala that was actually driven on the sitcom went up for sale. The Impala has 42,000 miles on it, and features a 283 C.I. engine with a power glide transmission. It was auctioned off alongside some other vintage items, including a 1950 Ford  F1 pickup truck, a juke box, and old kid pedal cars.  

 

Jim and Jan Edens who live in the Grassland Community,decided that after they lost their son, Jason Edens, to a tragic death while serving in Afghanistan that they would sell some of their collectible items.

Bob Parks Realty Auction told us that the “Bewitched” car bring at auction?  The representative said that it sold for $22,000 and the 1950  Ford  F1 truck sold for $15,000.

In May of 2012, Governor Haslam declared May 4th as a Day of Mourning for Tennesseans in remembrance of the Edens son, Jason Edens, who was also the recipient  of a Purple Heart. Edens was 2007 graduate of Franklin High School.
