FAMILY DAY: Rescheduled for SAT. NOV 10
The Family Day Event Sat. Oct 6, 2012 at The Park at Harlinsdale Farm, has been cancelled due to the forecasted cold temperatures and rain. The impact of the weather on the equipment, participants, and facility does not allow us to properly and safely execute a quality event for the community. We have rescheduled the event for Sat. November 10, 2012 from 10-2pm at the Park at Harlinsdale Farm.

Saturday October 6th is Family Day at the Park at Harlinsdale. From 10-2 plenty of activities are scheduled for the entire family. A day full of hayrides, children’s train rides, fishing/casting, games, entertainment and DJ music is planned. The event features inflatable’s, a simulated milking cow, lasso and horsemanship demos and free face painting.
Everything is free except for snack items like hot dogs, corn dogs, or burgers and fries. Funnel cakes and drinks will also be available. “This event was well attended last year and continues to grow each year,” said Parks Director Lisa Clayton. “Hopefully we’ll have cooperative weather and this event will show off one of the City’s most beautiful parks and our friendly Parks staff. There is plenty of parking on site and it’s really a fun and relaxing event for the entire family.”
