The Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar located in the Publix shopping center in Spring Hill has closed.
A sign on the front of the restaurant, located at 4937 Columbia Pike, said “This location is closed,” and asked customers to join them at their Columbia location.
In March, DineEquity, the company that owns the chain, said it expected to close between 40 and 60 restaurants in the U.S. based on “several criteria, including meeting our brand and image standards and operational results.”
DineEquity expects Applebee’s to continue to struggle in 2017;
