Opening its season with a huge win over Cheatham County last week, the Yellow Jackets continued the winning streak against Camden last night.  Fairview dominated the field Friday night after breaking a six-year losing streak to Camden, winning 19-7.

The two teams fought hard to keep possession of the ball and struggled to meet the end zone in the first half, resulting in a scoreless first quarter.

During the second, Camden had a touchdown to put seven points on the board to bring the game 7-0 at halftime.

Fairview struggled to drive the ball into the end zone during the third but held Camden at a steady seven points.  However, the Yellow Jackets were ready to make some moves coming back into the game.

Fairview ignited the field with a touch down to bring the score 7-7 at the end of the third.  They continued to make plays as the Yellow Jackets scored their second touchdown of the night (13-7) coming into the fourth.

Garret Wall scored a touchdown with a 62-yard punt-return to give Fairview the upper-hand with just minutes left in the game, ending with a victory for the Yellow Jackets.

Fairview will travel to Stewart County and kick-off at 7:30 p.m. next Friday.
