Fairview Students Get Inside Look at Manufacturing Industry

Students from Fairview Middle and Fairview High schools observed Manufacturing Day October 2, 2015, by traveling to three companies in Franklin to learn about modern manufacturing.

Students visited Apcom Inc, which manufactures water heater parts, Flash Techology, which makes the lights that go on cell phone towers and Horn, which make precision cutting tools. Students were able to see what people actually do at a manufacturing company and to learn first hand how vital these careers are.
