On Aug 10, 2015 Hickman Criminal Investigators, Hickman Day Shift Patrol Deputies, and Fairview Police Dept. worked together to stop two local drug dealers. Two individuals were stopped on Wayne Road in Lyles after an anonymous tip, resulting in two arrests. One subject was arrested for a felony capias for sales of schedule I narcotics, another was arrested for promotion of methamphetamines.
“We have collaborated several times with the Hickman County Sheriff’s office in recent months. The result of those efforts has been several drug arrests from dealers to the end users. Because we are in the same judicial district and have the support of both Chief Harris and Sheriff Ward, the operations have been a success. We have taken a strong stance in our city against illegal drug activity, and plan to keep applying pressure to those engaged in this type of criminal activity,” said Lt. Pat Stockdale.
