Fifth graders at Fairview Elementary got to experience first-hand what working in the real world is like. They traveled to J.A. Biztown on November 6th and 7th and worked at jobs they had applied for, paid taxes, made deposits, and more! They had a blast while working, but soon realized how demanding adult life can be! What a fun and engaging experience it was!

Also, on November 14th, 4th grade students gave character speeches to try to qualify for the county 4H competition. The students had to choose a character trait and then give a speech both about that trait and then about people who exhibit that trait. They were incredible! So well-spoken and prepared!
