The Fairview Christmas parade was to take place today, Saturday, December 8. But after consideration, the Fairview Chamber decided to reschedule the parade for December 22. The Chamber posted the following message on Facebook announcing the date change.
The Fairview Chamber of Commerce has rescheduled The Festival of Lights Christmas Parade for December, 22nd starting from Westwood Elementary at 4:30 and ending at the SFEG / Plant on Hwy 100. We would like to thank the management of SFEG for letting us use their parking lot to disperse the parade on such short notice. One other bit of good news is that if you would like to be in the parade and did not get your application submitted in time, you can still be in the parade. We want to wish you all a Very Merry and Safe Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
The Leiper’s Fork parade was also rescheduled from today, December 8th to next Saturday, December 15.
