Ravenwood’s Brian Garcia and Anthony Holmes connected on a pair of scoring passes, breaking open a close game and helping the Raptors to a 35-7 win over Fairview on Friday.
Ravenwood broke open a 7-all tie when Garcia hit Holmes with a pair of third-quarter touchdown passes from 5 and 53 yards, taking a 21-7 lead. Those were 14 of 35 unanswered Ravenwood points.
Fairview’s Brock Harris hit Kam Harris-Lusk with a 21-yard scoring strike with 41 seconds left in the half. Ravenwood’s touchdown came on William Baine’s 2-yard touchdown run in the first quarter.
Baine and Tony Rice added fourth-quarter rushing scores for the Raptors.
Ravenwood (7-2) is off next week before traveling to Independence on Oct. 26 to end its regular season.
Fairview (7-2) is also off next week, then ends its regular season at Cheatham County the same night.
