The Factory Art Guild Serves as a Voice for Local Art

June 1st is right around the corner, and with it comes the First Friday of the Month Art Crawl. This month’s crawl is supported by the newly established Factory Art Guild. The guild serves as the voice for the local art scene and is celebrating by throwing a party for you. The Factory will have live music, art and activities for the kids.

Come out and enjoy a wonderful dinner at the location’s restaurants, drop the kids off at Third Coast Clay and visit the many artisans as they teach and display their many talents. “We are the first trolley stop, making it especially convenient for couples and families to enjoy fine dining, browse beautiful art, hear awesome live music, partake in adult refreshments, all the while children are being entertained with art activities at Third Coast Clay,” said Michele Wilkinson, director of Imagine Gallery of American Fine Art & Objects and guild president.

More than 14 studios are teaming up for the event. Add the $5 unlimited trolley rides and visit other artists in downtown Franklin as well for an evening full of wonder and enjoyment. Whether you are a novice or professional art fan, you will enjoy the variety of genres available while you stroll through historic Franklin.
