Extra Deputies on Patrol for Cinco de Mayo

The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office is urging those who celebrate Cinco de Mayo to make it a safe one. The WCSO will have extra deputies working to get impaired drivers off the roads.

Cinco de Mayo has become one of the most dangerous days of the year because of drunk driving. If your celebration includes alcohol, plan to have a designated driver. If you or someone you know is about to drive, take their keys and help them make other arrangements to get to their destination safely. Do not drink and drive. There is always a better and safer option.
