The Skyline Sessions in the Lounge at City Winery Nashville is a recurring live music series celebrating songwriters and performers in one of the most intimate listening rooms in Nashville. The Skyline Sessions is not genre-specific and features all different styles of music. Our upstairs Lounge patios offer incredible views of the downtown Nashville skyline... a perfect space to enjoy the City Winery experience before or after the show! The Lounge also offers the same incredible menu as our main concert venue, including our revolutionary house-made wine on tap and extensive 400+ wine list!  On May 28th, 2019 we will feature Nashville based artists, Emily Chambers, and Alicia Michilli. Emily Chambers: Raised in Vancouver, BC Chambers now splits time between Canada and the US, residing in Nashville. But if you’re looking for her, chances are she is on an open highway. A road warrior at heart, Emily dreamed of quitting her 9-5, moving into a camper van and touring indefinitely. In 2016 she made that dream a reality. Chambers has now completed two US tours in her 1983 Dodge 250B, performing in LA, Oklahoma, Dallas, Austin, Las Vegas, New Orleans, Nashville, Atlanta, New York City and more. Some shows of note include New Years Eve at the Park MGM in Las Vegas, opening for R&B artist Andy Allo at The Mint in LA, opening for Jessica Childress at West Hollywood’s Peppermint Club, and opening up for the likes of Delta Rae, Walker Lukens, and the New York based soul-pop group Lawrence at Biltmore Cabaret in Vancouver. "Left Alabama" is her most recent release, and her next single will be out April 26th. Alicia Michilli: Alicia Michilli is an R&B /Soul artist from Detroit, MI. Most widely recognized for being in the top ten on the popular national television show, AMERICA’S GOT TALENT, this Nashville transplant is fresh off the road opening for Grammy-winning Taj Mahal and Keb Mo on their 2018 TajMo tour. She's also opened for artists such as Andra Day and Nelly. Alicia was raised on Detroit Motown sounds, the influences of which are undisguised in her music. A tiny thing, standing at only 5 feet tall, her astoundingly powerful vocals often come as a welcome and unexpected surprise to those hearing her for the first time. Her voice is often compared to Grace Potter, Aretha Franklin, Adele, and Amy Winehouse. In her eight years in Nashville, she has gained the attention and support of many fellow writers and performers, many of whom are featured on her brand new EP, “Letters From The Edge.”
