Join us and celebrate the coming solar eclipse! The celebration will include Native American dancers and ceremonies featuring Aztec Dancers with Iluicamina Flechador del Cielo, Native arts and crafts, Native food including frybread and tacos, informative lectures on the history of the sacred site of Mound Bottom and issues concerning Native Americans, and a visit to Mound Bottom Archaeological site with ceremonies both days. Saturday evening, a concert under the stars will also be provided with guests Gareth Laffely (voted best up and coming Native musician); Ryan LittleEagle, (multi-award winning Native musician); Becky Hobbs of Beckaroo Music; and other special guests. You will be allowed to camp (dry camp only, no open fires, guests will need to provide their own generators). You will also be allowed to enter the site from the Harpeth River if kayaking. $8 entrance fee at the gate $5 seniors and children 6-12 Children under 6 free Located at Faulkner Ranch, 1435 Butterworth Rd, Kingston Springs, TN 37082 (Mound Bottom Archeological Park on the Harpeth River, follow the signs from U.S. 70)
