From the Inside: A Night of Celebration & Remembrance for Chester Bennington of Linkin Park

This benefit show will feature performances by Emerge, Conquer the Distance + more as well as an open mic for people to share stories on the tragic passing of Chester Bennington as well as suicide awareness. We will have a guestbook and banner for people to sign and share their story. Additionally, a silent auction will be held for Linkin Park/Chester Bennington-related items. Everyone’s favorite Linkin Park tracks will be played over the PA between sets. Proceeds from the event will go towards Linkin Park’s charity Music for Relief and S.A.V.E. Founded by two-time Grammy winning/multi-platinum rock band Linkin Park, Music for Relief is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing aid to victims of natural disasters and the prevention of such disasters. Since its inception in 2005, Music for Relief has raised over $5 million for victims of multiple disasters across four continents including the 2004 tsunami in Southeast Asia, hurricane Katrina, China’s Wenchuan earthquake, a cholera outbreak in Zimbabwe, the 2010 Haiti earthquake and 2011 Japan earthquake & tsunami. Music for Relief also supports environmental programs to help in prevention and mitigation of future natural disasters. MFR has organized a benefit concert featuring multi-platinum artists, sent musicians and volunteers to Southeast Asia and the U.S. Gulf Coast to help rebuild and donate supplies to people in need, and planted over 1 million trees to help reduce global warming.
