Creative Zone: DeFord Bailey DIY Harmonicas
Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum
Sun, Sep 22 10:00 am

Create your own harmonica from household materials, inspired by country music’s first African American star, DeFord Bailey. A popular early figure on the Grand Ole Opry, Bailey played innovative harmonica music that often was influenced by sounds around him, like chugging trains and barking hounds. What sounds will you make on your new harmonica? All ages. Taylor Swift Education Center. Included with museum admission. Free to museum members.
