Adam Wakefield & The Copperheads at Soulshine Music Loft
Tue, Jul 18 7:00 pm
Adam Wakefield moved to Nashville in October of 2013 to pursue his career as a musician and a songwriter. While living in Baltimore, he developed a passion for Bluegrass music coincidently while contemplating the move. After becoming familiar with the songs of Bill Monroe, Ricky Scaggs, Tony Rice and ultimately the Steeldrivers, he found a new voice and started writing. By June of 2014, Adam had settled in and met enough players in town to form The Copperheads. The songs are mix of Bluegrass and Folk music and with Adam's unique voice and background, have a touch of Soul too. With raw, inspired songwriting and paramount musicianship The Copperheads are ready to form a new chapter in the Bluegrass genre.
