Entrepreneurial Spirit Drive Williamson County

When talking to County Mayor Rogers Anderson recently he stated that entrepreneurial spirit is what drives the county and helps with development and growth. Nothing proves that philosophy more than Father Ryan Freshman, Jack Abrams and his TigerMeat Hot Dogs stand.

Abrams is a resident of Williamson County, but is originally from Illinois and is bringing Chicago style lunch to the Saturday at the Commons events in Spring Hill. “I’ve always wanted to own my own business and I missed those Chicago-style hot dogs,” Abrams said. “The response has been amazing; everyone loves the product and our service. And we’re busy—I’ll be going to the Westhaven Porchfest after Saturdays at The Commons!”

Abrams works with suppliers, mans the cart, promotes the business on Facebook and runs the entire business himself. “Jack represents the entrepreneurial and community spirit that’s building right here every third Saturday,” said Curtis Gibbs, president of Early’s Honey Stand and one of the event organizers.
