Ed’s British 4×4 is Middle Tennessee’s only independent Land Rover/Range Rover service center. They have been in business over 10 years, offering service and repairs on Land Rover/Range Rover, as well as, many other domestic and foreign cars.
Owner and operator Kenny Heithcock is a Williamson County native. For Kenny, a passion to fix cars is genetic. As a kid, he helped his grandfather, Ed Heithcock, work on cars, eventually following in his grandfather’s footsteps by making mechanic work his profession.
In fact, Kenny told us that there has been a member of the Heithcock family working on vehicles in Williamson County since 1939.
When he turned 18, Kenny’s childhood hobby of working on cars with his grandfather became a passion and he decided to make it his profession. A few years later, he was working at Land Rover Nashville/Andrews Cadillac, where he became Land Rover certified. After 18 years working for a dealership, he decided he wanted to open a shop of his own.
His shop was initially in Franklin, but he always had his eye on Brentwood.
“We had always wanted to be in Brentwood from day one, but there was no place to go at that time, so we found a place in Franklin. When that building we leased was sold we started looking in Brentwood and got lucky and found this spot,” Kenny said of his conveniently located Wilson Pike Circle location.
The staff at Ed’s 4×4 brings over 50 years of Land Rover/Range Rover experience.
The business model at Ed’s 4×4 is “hard work, honesty, fairness and a willingness to show customers they are appreciated,” said Kenny.
