The Bicentennial Park in downtown Franklin hosted Eat the Street, a food truck festival, Friday, May 8th. This is the first event at the new park, located at 3rd Ave N. and Hillsboro Road.

A packed crowd enjoyed over 40 food trucks, offering cuisine ranging from burgers to ice cream to pita and delicious baked goods and everything in between.

    • I agree and would love to be the one in charge of heading up the event. Franklin has always shown up and supported food truck events in a big way. The Eat the Street event has a great following and I think that Bicentennial Park proved to be a great location. There is no need to close down Main Street in order to have a food truck event in Franklin anymore.
