from Maury County Sheriff’s Department
The Maury County Drug Task Force recently presented 29 individuals to the Maury County Grand Jury resulting in 63 indictments on felony drug offenses. These offenses include sale of meth, sale of heroine, sale of cocaine in a drug free zone, conspiracy to distribute 300 grams of methamphetamine, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony.
The Maury County Sheriff’s Department along with Columbia PD, Spring Hill PD, 22nd Judicial Drug Task Force and Giles County Sheriff’s Department conducted a “round up” Tuesday morning on these individuals resulting in multiple arrests that also resulted in additional charges on other persons.
These indictments resulted from an ongoing investigation being conducted by the Maury County Drug Task Force.
Sheriff Bucky Rowland would like to personally and publicly thank the hard working members of the Drug Task Force. They deserve our praise for their dedication to keeping Maury County safe.
