The Downtown Franklin Rotary Club – established in 2017 – presented checks of $7,500 each to My Friend’s House and Friends of Franklin Parks at its April 15 meeting. The funds were dispersed from the Downtown Franklin Rotary Foundation and were raised through the club’s annual chili cookoff and its Kentucky Derby party.
Since its founding, the DFRC has been one of the fastest growing clubs in the country. The club meets on the first and third Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at the Williamson County Enrichment Center. More information can be found at www.downtownfranklinrotary.com.
