Downtown Franklin’s Harpeth Square project will require road closures next week.
Starting on Monday, July 23 until Friday, July 27, expect roads to be closed in downtown Franklin. Due to challenges in working underneath 1st Avenue, they will be closing 1st Avenue and Bridge Street between Main Street and 2nd Avenue to complete the electrical trenching.
According to Steve Bacon, COO of Harpeth Associates, Harpeth Hotel is expected to open in early June 2019 and the residences beginning in July and continuing through November 2019. The retail and office space, which is the last component should be finished in November 2019.
As the construction continues on the project, Bacon noted that Harpeth Square will begin parking in the garage this summer but it won’t be ready for the public until the Hotel opens next June freeing up street parking.
Sometime this summer, Harpeth Square will be announcing the name and information on the restaurant in the Hotel as well as the Café. Both of these will be operated by the Hotel Management Company, Valor Hospitality. They will have their own identities and entrances but be located in the Harpeth Hotel and both will have ample outdoor seating.
