On Thursday, November 16, The Spoiled Lady shared they had closed their doors for business.

There was no warning or closing sale but simply a message to customers on Facebook.

“The end of an amazing era for The Spoiled Lady! 10 years ago, I would have never dreamed of the way this little shop would change my life and the times I felt like it saved it! I have made lifelong friends, had the best time of my life, had amazing employees but most of all had fun! Seasons change as does life, so as l lock the door one final time it is not with sadness but with joy of feeling accomplished, I have had the honor of dressing some of my best friends for their wedding day, the best girls for proms and formals. The decision did not come easy as this shop is like another child in my life, but I have a 17 year old and a 2 year old who are excited to have mommy home this prom season! I can not thank you enough for all of the support and love over the years! I know my Daddy who is always my biggest fan is proud and watching from above! I could make this post go on and on! We of course are taking care of our current brides and hope our future ones will visit @thebrideroom and @fabulousfrocksnashville to find your dream dress and our prom girls join us @offtheracktn”

The Spoiled Lady, owned by Dee White, was first located on Columbia Avenue in Franklin but moved to Seaboard Lane in 2011 where they shared a space with Street Tuxedo.

The @offtheracktn Instagram describes Off the Rack has a new prom and formal wear store located at 316 E James Campbell Boulevard in Columbia, opening November 18. It says pricing starts at $75 and nothing in the store is over $400.
