Don’t Like Spring Hill Traffic? Apply for Open Transportation Advisory Seat

The Spring Hill Board of Mayor and Aldermen has expanded the Spring Hill Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC) to seven members, and Mayor Rick Graham is now seeking to fill a remaining citizen seat on the committee.

The three existing TAC members, Alderman Chad Whittenburg, the committee’s chairman; Planning Commissioner Matt Koss, the Planning Commission’s representative; and Alderman Matt Fitterer, the BOMA representative, will remain in their current positions on the committee.

Mayor Graham is now seeking citizen applications for the last remaining citizen position on the committee.

Newly elected Alderman Kevin Gavigan will fill a new seat on the TAC that the mayor has designated for a BOMA member. Mayor Graham also has added three new positions for citizens to serve on the committee, which will include Shane McNeill, a civil engineer who ran for mayor, fulfilling a term that expires Dec. 31, 2018; and Doug Holtz, who ran for an alderman seat, fulfilling a term that expires Dec. 31, 2019.

Mayor Graham is now seeking citizen applications for the last remaining citizen position on the committee.The seat will expire Dec. 31, 2017, with the mayor having the ability to reappoint the designee for an additional three-year term if the designee is amenable.
