Last Chance to Buy Tickets to the Legacy Ball

Davis House Child Advocacy Center

In just a few short days, you will get you chance to have a “Night at the Oscars” as Davis House presents Legacy Ball on Saturday, February 28th, to be held at the Embassy Suites.   The Ball raises money to provide services to child victims of sexual and/or severe physical abuse. Davis House promises a party you’ll talk about long after the evening is over.

The evening begins at 6 pm with  a complimentary wine reception, dinner and dancing and two auctions – a silent auction and a “not-so-silent” auction. Heidi Schwartz will once again provide a unique Paint Your Event experience with a memorable interpretive live event painting capturing the event being auctioned at the Ball.  Just added to the event, an Instagram photo booth with props and  the assigned hashtag #DavisHouseLegacyBall and #nimby.

Established in 1999, the Child Advocacy Center works to protect children and combat child abuse by coordinating services to victims and their families in crisis and providing community education focused on prevention and early intervention. Last year we provided over 2,000 services to 385 new child clients and 361 new adult non-offending family members) in the 21st Judicial District which includes Williamson, Hickman, Lewis, and Perry Counties.

“A Night at the Oscars” theme was used at the first Ball and giving the Davis House the opportunity to honor those who have supported Davis House through their advocacy of our Center or the issue of child abuse, their financial support, volunteer efforts, and the work of our investigative partners. In addition to the Ronald L. Davis award which goes to the person who has done the most to protect children, we will bestow other awards on those who have helped us over the past year.
