After Christmas, your budget may need a little recovery time. The holidays can be taxing on your wallet; however, there are ways to save money.
We found this chart at Passionate Penny Pincher that shows the prices for common items purchased at three different stores. Â In the chart comparison, you will find prices from Target, Wal-Mart, and Aldi.
We found it interesting that overall Aldi products were priced lower than Target or Wal-Mart.
As Passionate Penny Pincher formed the chart, the guidelines followed for pricing were as follows:
- Prices were based on everyday prices, not sale prices. If you find the items on sale at Target or Walmart, you likely will get a better price.
-  Similar brands were compared across the stores (Walmart’s Great Value and Target’s Up & Up) when possible.
- Sam’s Club and Costco may have better prices on some products.  Here is a separate guide so you can compare those. Click here for a printable version of that list.
