Donna Ulisse and the Poor Mountain Boys Perform at Puckett’s Saturday

On Saturday, March 11th after Brewfest, stop by Puckett’s Gro and Restaurant to take in dinner and a show. Country music fans might remember Donna Ulisse from her days when she was signed to Atlantic Records in the early 1990’s where she released a critically acclaimed album Trouble at The Door.  Ulisse made several guest appearances on Hee Haw, Nashville Now, Crook and Chase and NBC’s Hot Country Nights.

Now,  Donna Ulisse is a key figure in the bluegrass, folk and acoustic music scene as a singer and songwriter. In 2015 she released her ninth bluegrass album, Hard Cry Moon, for Hadley Music Group Records, making a return to mostly original material and produced by eight-time winner of IBMA’s Guitarist of the Year Award, Bryan Sutton. With Hard Cry Moon, Donna Ulisse earned her spot as one of bluegrass music’s most captivating artists. Her album topped the Roots Music chart where it started at #50 and moved to #1 in just three weeks.
