Doctor Phillip Kemp Makes Williamson County Proud

Brentwood Doctor Phillip Kemp was awarded Accredited Member Status and the Humanitarian of the Year award by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. The awards were presented at the 18th Annual Scientific Session held in May in Washington D.C. There are fewer than 340 accredited members worldwide and 287 of those reside in the U.S.

Accreditation is a several year process involving written and oral examinations that lead to an advanced education which fosters better patient care. “We are honored to welcome Dr. Kemp to the ranks of AACD Accredited members,” said Dr. Nils Olson, chairperson for AACD Accreditation. Dr. Kemp organized Hope Smiles eight years ago to bring affordable Quality dental care to those in need. His efforts with this organization have garnered recognition as Humanitarian of the Year for the AACD.

“Hope Smiles is meant to bring hope through healing to those living in local and regional communities as well as around the world where dental care is unavailable or unaffordable. Hope Smiles helps individuals who have overcome life-controlling issues by providing them with superb dental care, while also allowing dental students real-life and hands-on experience with his team,” says a recent press release.
