“Discovering Lucy Angel” To Premiere at Franklin Theatre

Franklin residents, the Anderton Family, are coming to Primetime. Lucy Angel will be premiering their docu-series Discovering Lucy Angel at a red carpet event Monday night at the Franklin Theatre. I was fortunate enough last year to become involved with the group and get an interview with these talented ladies at Gray’s Drug.Afterwards, the band returned for a taping of their performance at Gray’s . The mother-daughter trio will be performing a few of their songs, including their latest hit “Crazy Too”, before debuting the first episode in front of the crowd at the Theatre. Discovering Lucy Angel will debut on the AXSTV channel on Tuesday night. AXSTV can be found locally :

DISCOVERING LUCY ANGEL follows the mother-daughter trio Lucy Angel and their family, the Andertons, as they work together to launch their music career in Nashville. The docu-series captures the ups and downs of the family’s lives as they make a name for themselves in country music and highlights the endearing group while on the road and at their family home in Franklin, Tennessee.

9T1A0638The cast includes daughters Lindsay, Emily and their mother Kate Anderton, who together comprise Lucy Angel; along with father and band manager Doug (aka G-Man); sons Fletcher and Jake; hit songwriter Anthony Smith; Anthony and Lindsay’s daughter, McCartney; and the family’s two beloved dogs, Faith and Hope.
In the premiere episode the Anderton family members rehearse and prepare for the biggest performance of their career: a live concert at the Pocono Raceway.
