The Dickson County Sheriff’s deputy who was shot and killed early Wednesday morning has been identified as Sgt. Daniel Baker.
The Spring Hill Police Department sent their condolences on social media today as Sgt. Baker has family members on the Spring Hill Police force. His father Darryl Baker is a detective and his step bother Evan is an officer.

A manhunt for the shooter Steven Wiggins is underway and TBI issued a Blue Alert for Wiggins. Wiggins is considered armed and dangerous. He is a white male, 6’1″ and 220 lbs. If you spot him, call 911.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives is offering an reward for information leading to the arrest of Steven Wiggins. The reward stands at $7,500.
