Demolition on H.G. Hill Center Begins Oct. 1

H.G. Hill Realty Company will begin the demolition of the Tennessee Baptist Convention building on October 1 as part of the company’s expansion of Hill Center Brentwood, which will include a mix of restaurant and retail in addition to Class A office space.

The demolition is expected to take nine weeks and should be completed by the first week of December. During this phase, there will be no blasting. Throughout the demolition process, the concrete will be crushed for alternative uses.

Following the demolition, a construction timeline will be determined that includes a blasting schedule based on building locations and rock depths. The schedule will be shared with neighboring residents and businesses.

Turner Construction Company is the contractor overseeing the development’s construction and D.H. Griffin will handle the demolition.
